A café (pronounced /ˈkæfeɪ/ or /kæˈfeɪ/), also spelled cafe[a], may in the United States mean an informal restaurant, offering a range of hot meals and made-to-order sandwiches, while in most other countries it refers to an establishment which focuses on serving coffee, like an American coffeehouse.

A “café” can also refer to a small informal public discussion. These are usually live events, and often focus on starting an open conversation on a particular topic.

Here at Café Cars we talk about cars — as in, we report all the small talk and casual conversations about glamorous automobiles and unique collector vehicles that are discusses each day at exotic car shows, vintage car shows, local swap meets, and on the sales floors of exotics dealerships.

We know what we are talking about because in real life we are in the car business. Our company trades high line European imports, supercars, and ultra-luxury cars on a daily basis. As such, we tend to have a rather unique set of clients who are well educated, have discerning taste, and a wide variety of special interests.

This blog reveals topics that come up on an everyday basis and answers quite a few questions about rare and collectible automobiles. It also addresses the manufacturing trends the special car companies are beginning to consider, such as the creation of green exotic cars and greener daily driver automobiles.

If you have a question about investment grade automobiles (including wanting to discuss something confidentially that you would like to buy or sell), feel free to contact us at cafecars@gmail.com.

We’d love to meet over a cup of cappuccino and chat a while.

Ciao ~~
